I went into 16 cents 3 shoes and 5 socks today with my mom to buy a bed for her spare room. We were helped by Tim and he went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. He showed us a wide range of mattresses and made sure we got one that not only fit our comfort level but also price level. While in the store he made sure that my mother could get around with her Walker even moving furniture when necessary. He was very knowledgeable about the mattresses and helped us make an informed decision. When it came to the price he went over the financing options making sure that we got something that fit into her budget. Hands down the best furniture buying experience we have had in a while. Words cannot express how happy I am to have stopped today at 16 Cents, 3 shoes & 5 socks. We were sectional shopping and found the PERFECT one. As soon as we walked through the doors, we were greeted. We looked around and told them that Yesterday we had a bad experience at another warehouse looking for a sectional, and we felt that they were really listing to our concerns. We were told about finance that would not pull our credit, and we would be approved. That made it a lot easier. Lo and behold, they were telling the truth about our credit not being pulled and getting approved. Today we are leaving the store happy and satisfied customers and would love to give 10 stars 🌟 but sadly can only give 5. I will tell anyone who is looking for any furniture to come to this place. They treat you like friends or family, not money signs.

We walked in and Tim was who greeted us and we told him we had to very quickly get 3 mattresses because we were on a time crunch. He was professional yet fun, he made the experience enjoyable. He was quick and to the point because he knew we were in a rush. He was knowledgeable but not pushy at all. We got in and out of there with our 3 mattresses in less then an hour. And because of Tim we came back the next day and bought 1 more.

Wow, absolutely phenomenal experience all the way around! Over and above exceptional customer service! Starting with Tim P. in sales who was friendly and helpful, but didn't pressure us at all. He was there to answer any questions we had, let us choose what we wanted without trying to guide us towards something more expensive like other places sometimes do, and just listened to us every step of the way. Thanks, Tim, for all your help! Next up is the warehouse/delivery crew! Oh my goodness, so many wonderful things to say about them! My invoice said I would be called in two to three business days to schedule delivery. I was thinking it would be closer to the three days, given how busy a lot of places are. Since we purchased on a Saturday afternoon, I was thinking we would probably get called the following Wednesday. I was pleasantly surprised when Tennessee called us the following Monday afternoon to get us on the schedule for that coming Wednesday. This was the first awesome thing the delivery/warehouse crew did, but it doesn't end there! Tennessee and I had originally agreed that my furniture would be delivered between 11 and 2 that Wednesday, but then it turned out I wouldn't be available at that time, and my backup person wasn't available at that time either. So on Tuesday, I called the warehouse within half an hour after they opened, and left a message asking them to call me back as soon as they could so that they could reschedule. Tennessee called me back within a couple hours, and we discussed availability for both of us. When it looked like I might have to wait a week or two to get the furniture, he said, "I don't want you to have to wait that long to get it, I'll leave you on the schedule for tomorrow [Wednesday], and we'll get you after five. It will be tough on our end, but we'll make it work." I was very grateful he was willing to work with my schedule, and that he was so polite and patient about it. Wednesday rolled around and I got a confirmation call from Brandon Wood shortly after opening, stating that they would indeed be at my house right at 5:00 PM that day. Later that evening, around 4:00 PM, he called me again to let me know that they had to be back at the shop at 5 because a truck was coming, but that they would still deliver my furniture that day, it would just be later that night. True to his word, Brandon called me just after 6:00 PM and told me that they [he and one other person] were on their way. It didn't take long for them to get here, and they brought my furniture right in and set it up where I wanted it. They were friendly, helpful, and all smiles. Throughout the whole thing, Brandon was extremely apologetic, but I told him it was totally fine. I understood. Tim P, Tennessee, Brandon Wood, and the rest of their crew went above and beyond to give my husband and I an excellent experience, and let me just say, they definitely exceeded our expectations. I really appreciated the fact that they returned phone calls in a timely manner, stayed in communication with us the whole time, and were genuinely concerned about meeting our needs to the best of their ability. I am beyond impressed! We will definitely be back for our future furniture needs!

My sister and I came down to get a new mattress for her, right when we walked in we were greeted by the best customer service. Tim helped her find the perfect mattress and sold her based on comfort rather than price. We already formulated a plan in our heads that we would go pick out the mattress then run to the U-Haul on 3rd, since that was the closest one we could find. Unfortunately, the electronically controlled recliner/chair purchased was not nearly as comfortable as it seemed to be when it was selected, while comparing it to 4 others in store. Due to their policy and Covid-19 risks, even after only 1-day in the home, there is nothing they are willing to do to help us remedy this $$$ mis-selection purchase. I took my grandma to their main shop in hope she would find comfortable chairs. She has had three back surgeries in the past and still works at Walmart so she wanted something nice. We got lost at first but quickly found it. Neither one of us had ever been in there but Andrew jumped in quickly and showed her all the possibilities she could have in her home. He even showed me some really nice bed sets for my kiddo. When she went to pay Tennessee helped her get the chairs to her the next day. There was a tiny bit of confusion but Tennessee made it work and was so nice to talk to. While they talked with my grandma I sat and chatted with Sherri about how the store came out to be. Its an amazing story and I love the reason behind it. Their store was super clean and there were so much to look at. When Shane and Correy arrived they helped us move the old broken chairs in my grandmas house and put the new ones inside where we needed them. We liked having the option for the layaway program. I was searching for a comfortable yet supportive bed that didn't cost 1,000.00 or more like my last bed did, and since I'd had an amazing experience purchasing a futon from 16 Cents 3 Shoes & 5 Socks in September, I decided to check first with them first and sure enough I found the perfect firm bed manufactured in Idaho including box spring, pad and frame plus delivery for well under 1,000.00!!! I was helped by 16 Cents 3 Shoes & 5 Socks rep Allen at the Ash store. He was very friendly and helpful because I wasn't sure what to pick out. Allen also helped me get the right products that gave me the best warranties answering ALL of my questions :) I tried to put the frame together the morning of my bed delivery but I couldn't completely figure it out, and when 16 Cents 3 Shoes & 5 Socks delivery men, Rob and Corey arrived, they agreed to come inside before bringing the bed in and completing the assembling of the bed frame very quickly (less than a minute!) which I really appreciated. They too were very friendly and professional and once again, 16 Cents 3 Shoes & 5 Socks employees made buying furniture a wonderful experience! I can honestly say that this bed from 16 Cents 3 Shoes & 5 Socks is just as nice as my prior bed that I purchased for over $1,200.00. many years ago! Will always check with this store FIRST for all of my furniture purchases :)

Went in after trying to buy used off of Facebook from numerous people. The salesman let us know what we were approved for in easy to understand terms and was not overly pushy about any one model. After letting my wife and I pick out what we wanted we came in a little over what I was qualified for. The salesman worked some magic and got us under so we could get what we want. They went the extra mile for us so I just want to say this is the best place to get stuff by far. wide selection of quality brands as well. TIM AND DONNY THE SALESMAN ARE FANTASTIC.

I had a wonderful experience mattress shopping for my sister and my son. We walked in and we’re immediately greeted by Rachael and helped in finding the type of mattress we were looking for. We got an amazing deal definitely a lot less then we were expecting to spend. Racheal was super nice about my son wanting to lay on all the mattresses (he’s a toddler lol) We thought we were going to spend the day mattress shopping but it was just what we were looking for in one stop. The gentleman in the loading area was super nice and helpful. He noticed the box spring bag was torn and took it back out of the truck and replaced it with another. He also asked if I wanted help with my tie downs. Overall a wonderful experience, great customer service, good quality mattress! I will definitely go back!

I recommend this store What a great experience shopping for a sofa at 16 Cents, 3 Shoes, and 5 socks, the store with a story. I went into the store not sure exactly what I wanted. Jason, the owner greeted me and introduced me to Tim in sales. Tim's patience while helping me make a selection was incredible. I left the store with the perfect sectional for me even though I wasn't sure what that was when I went in. The level of customer service was incredible. I would recommend this store to everyone.

Today we were financed for a beautiful sectional by the talented, attentive, knowledgeable and kind Rachel! We have gone to so many stores before coming to 16 Cents and we were never met with such enthusiasm, helpfulness, and genuine kindness. She reassured us that financing would not be an issue (we have bad credit!!) and it was quick, simple and done in under 30 minutes, including shopping! If you’re looking for furniture with great customer service, this place ROCKS!! I’ve been having a bad experience with another location (bad idea, I learned) for the past month where it got to the point that they never showed up with my order yesterday!! It was a sign to cancel and look elsewhere...as I was shopping around, I came upon this store where their service was well above and beyond!! I didn’t felt any obligations to buy anything; the lady (sorry, I wish I remembered her name!!) was super helpful in answering all my questions and measuring furniture for me...I ended up ordering a few items and she made the process go smoothly...another gentleman (must be the owner) was also kind in making conversations that just made everything feel like I belong...I am so grateful to have walked into this place today and thankful to the employees!! I am really looking forward to my new furniture!!☺️

Donovan was great and he really tried to help us out. The owner came by and when he found out I had severe carpal tunnel and needed to save money by putting the furniture together myself, he gave me free assembly. That then made it possible for me to afford the box spring I desperately needed and I could then have everything delivered. You have no idea how much that helped me out...I am so grateful and will be purchasing from you again and will praise your store to all my friends. I'm going to leave a great Google review as well. Due to dates changing several times for my move in at my new apartment he has kept in contact with me faithfully and has rescheduled my delivery a couple of times. I had heard of 16 cents and read about them on Craigslist for many years now, but I had never had the option to do any business with them. I have been tossing that idea around about getting a new bed for a while now, this weekend decided to pull the trigger. Went to 16 Cents (their home location) on North Division and was assisted by Allen and Don. I was surprised at how easy the approval process was, and within minutes, I was approved. Allen helped me with my options, and I picked out a sleigh style frame with a memory foam mattress and made arrangements to pick up this coming Saturday. Allen and Don were very helpful with picking out the right bed that's right for me. I gotta say, even though I had been putting this off for some time now, the employees at 16 Cents made this process easy and effortless. Highly recommended :)

Being in sales myself, the last thing I wanted to do was even talk to a salesperson when I was looking for a new mattress. I went to a few places and cut off the salesperson right when they started to pitch what mattress I should go with before even asking me what it was that I was looking for. I met with Donovan at 16 cents and I'm as happy as can be. He took the time to ask me questions and made the purchase the easiest decision I've made in awhile. I was in on Monday February 19th, 2018, I was working with Austin. I came into the store looking for a bed. I over the last year have lost everything, my home and everything in the dwelling due to natural disaster. I then was informed because it was an act of God insurance company would not cover any of the costs. I was forced to relocate and sell the home as it was uninhabitable. I finally was able to move into an apartment, but of course I had no furniture. So first on my agenda was a bed.....They were so great. Everything I had hoped for and more. They delivered the Bed the next day. Tennessee and his Team were very professional. My closing remarks are that this organization is not only professional but has its community in mind. It is nice to be know that my money will assist with others who are struggling in my community and they are there to make a difference. Thank you again for everything. I will be back.

Not too long ago Jason was homeless and alone. He walked into Union Gospel Mission Inland Northwest with 16 cents, 3 shoes, and five socks to his name. That was then, this is now. Jason started out selling mattresses out of a warehouse. He now operates TWO successful furniture stores in Spokane and has a handful of employees! He is PROOF that there is always a better day around the corner. I see so many people who have lost hope and I want to tell them stories like Jason's to reassure them that life is more than what they are facing right now.
