We celebrate ten incredible years and highlight our outstanding staff who helped us get here.
Meet our Ash Street Clearance Store Manager, Collin Peirone.
Collin joined 16 Cents, 3 Shoes & 5 Socks over a year and a half ago when he moved back to Spokane from living in the Tri-Cities for a year. He took a chance and applied at our Downtown store.
"I came in with my resume, and the manager at the time hired me on the spot," said Collin. "She told me to show up the next day."
Starting as a sales associate, he filled in at our other store locations to help as needed. Collin's hard work earned him the Store Manager position two months ago, where he's had a significant impact.
"I love everything about being the store manager," said Collin. "I enjoy the responsibility of being on my own and making sure the store is stocked. The store needed some TLC when I started, so I changed the layout and ensured the entire store looked better."
Collin's position is considered entry-level management, but he hopes to grow with the company.
"I don't like being stagnant," said Collin. I like learning and want to learn more about managing people. Working under Jess and Jason, they're willing to teach, so I soak up the knowledge."
Collin enjoys spending time with his family and long-term girlfriend Megan when he's off work. "I like building relationships with my customers," said Collin, who previously worked in food service. "Taking time to help my customer rather than the fast-paced business of waiting tables."
