16 Cents, 3 Shoes and 5 Socks Blog

16 Cents, 3 Shoes & 5 Socks is a furniture store with a story. As the business grows, so does the need for product knowledge with the employees. Jason McSteen, owner, continues to make investments in his business, and his staff.
“Four members of our staff were sent on this trip. We're proud of what the team accomplished during their trip to Idaho,” says owner, Jason McSteen. “A sincere thank you to Therapedic Mattress Idaho for sharing their knowledge and expertise with 16 Cents, 3 Shoes, & 5 Socks employees.”
Our staff received an overview of the coil on the coil mattress systems and the layers that go into the different comfort systems. All in reparation to build their own mattresses!
Team member, Allen shared, “While learning more about the mattresses we sell, our team had the opportunity to build their own, including one of the most challenging parts, the tape edge. After many mistakes, we are much more suited to help our community find the right mattress for the best possible sleep. Not only are we deeply grateful for the opportunity and knowledge gained, but we are also truly humbled by the time, effort and quality that goes into every mattress made in Idaho."
“God is GOOD! The same way we believe in Him, He believes in US. We were given a special opportunity to be a part of something ground breaking for our store with a story! At this moment we stand proudly together as one because we are a team. A team full of believers. A team full of solid men who share the love of what we do and what we do it for. Thank you for always supporting us.” — Donovan, 16 Cents, 3 Shoes, & 5 Socks
Our team feels very proud and blessed.
Each team member that went on this trip gained more today than knowledge. Our story continues to grow.
